College football fans, Week 1 of the 2024 NCAA season is finally here. We have made it back to Football the season, the absolute greatest time of the year. Tell your women they no longer have priority and warn your bank that there will be some unusual spending on gambling. Tomorrow (Saturday's) lineup is stacked, and I am drooling at the mouth like a ravaged rottweiler just thinking about how amazing tomorrow will be.

Start your day with a Coors Light and some BBQ because noon kick-off is BACK. For me the game to watch at noon is Clemson Vs Georgia on ABC, It'll be a clash that’s sure to have playoff vibes from the opening snap. For those craving a rivalry with history, Penn State vs. West Virginia at noon on FOX will reignite an old-school Big East vibe, and will not disappoint. Fuck it, get a double screen maybe even form your best Scott Hanson impression and get a Octobox rolling and enjoy all the action without giving yourself a break.

In the afternoon, after watching Ohio State turn Akron into a highlight reel, tune in for Miami vs. Florida at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC—an in-state rivalry that’s always good for some heated exchanges and dramatic plays. And keep an eye on Colorado State vs. Texas on ESPN at 3:30 p.m., where the underdog Rams could give the Longhorns more than they bargained for.

As the sun sets and your buzz begins to increase, get ready for a primetime showdown between Notre Dame and Texas A&M at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. This is the game to close out your night, where two powerhouses collide in what could be an early playoff preview.

With so much on the line and so many great matchups, Week 1 is about to remind us why college football is the greatest show on Earth. Get your snacks, grab your friends, and get ready for a Saturday full of unforgettable action!

Now for the reason you read this blog, my picks;

  • Georgia -11.5

  • West Virginia +8

  • Colorado State +32

  • Florida +2.5

  • A&M -3
