Welcome to the Saturday version of the RBC Canadian Open, "Daily Hot Takes" segment, where we bring you live updates from the PGA Tour, analyze the leaderboard, and give you some insight on the best picks for the next day's action. Today was wild, the competition is heating up, people are going to fall off the leaderboard and the betting has got intense.

The Leaderboard Drama

Let's start with the big hitters and the headline-makers from today:

Robby MacIntyre (1): Had a slow start, nothing special, then out of nowhere, he fired -5 in 4 holes and finishes -4 for the day, bringing him to -14. Now he has a 4-shot lead going into Sunday. That 14-1 on Thursday wasn't so bad after all. 👀

Mackenzie Hughes (T2): Played steady golf, a few ups and some downs but overall good showing. Hughes needs to do a lot better tomorrow and he needs to stop being a mental midget if he wants to win this thing.

Ben Griffin (T2): Came out of nowhere and fired an impressive -5, putting him at -10 total. He looked great, but I'll tell you right now, Ben Griffin won't finish T5, he is not built for late round Sunday golf.

Ryan Fox (T2): The New Zealander had a great start going -4 through 5, then fell apart and shot EVEN, keeping him at -10. It will be interesting to see if he can maintain his competitiveness tomorrow.

Our Current Picks:

Rory McIlroy: Shot a -5, but should've done better. That bogey shamble fest on 17 really hurt him. I still think he can contend tomorrow. Rory also needs to get that putter figured out, guy is reading greens as well as Beetle Juice can spell r-e-d.

Robby MacIntyre: Dialed in and impressive. That 14-1 pick is getting me fired up. Love the way he finished today, don't need to say much more.

Tommy Fleetwood: Shot a 64! We have life—Fleetwood at -9 is very much in contention. This man could steal this thing right out from under the Scotsman. Wouldn't be the first time an Englishman fucked a Scotsman.

Tomorrow's Picks

Now, the juicy part—our picks for tomorrow’s action:

Value Winner Pick

For a value pick, I have a sneaky bet that's almost as guaranteed as Diddy liking men. Corey Conners is 4-1 to place top 5. He's two back from T5, and I personally guarantee he will close out strong on home field with the home crowd buzzing. He thrives on that energy. Bet him top 5 @ 4-1.

That's all I got for today's "Daily Hot Takes" from the PGA Tour. Tune in next week, before the US Open for more updates, sharp picks, and in-depth previews as major season continues. Now, gear up for an intense Sunday, keep those bets sharp, and get ready to ride the highs and lows. Let's make it a weekend to remember, or we make it one we can easily forget. Cheers.
