Fairway Favourites: Time to Cash In on the Rocket Mortgage Classic
We sit at 1-1 in our Fairway Favourites parlay, which is honestly not good enough for our standards. We didn't have a chance to get our get-back last week because of the Travelers being a signature no-cut event. That means this week we're coming out swinging to boost us to a winning record at 2-1. We’ve got a solid lineup of picks, and this week, we're making sure to hit it out of the park, or in this case, straight down the fairway. Buckle up, you degenerate golf junkies, because we’re about to make some serious cash.
Picks to Make the Cut:
Nicolai Hojgaard
Nicolai did well for us the first time we had him in our Fairway Favourites parlay back at the Canadian Open at Hamilton Golf Club. Honestly, he's been playing some consistent golf since, making 10 out of 13 cuts, which puts him at a 76.9% make-the-cut rate. I envision the former DP World Tour champion and the rising Danish star making the cut once again this week. He’ll be pumping drives and slinging darts with more accuracy than Harry Kane missing the net. Nicolai is as solid as one can be after a couple blue pills if you know what I mean.
Will Zalatoris
Next up is Will Zalatoris. I’m taking Will due to his recent form, with three top tens this season and ranking 38th in the FedEx world golf rankings. Zalatoris’ form is only improving. Besides his putting game being shakier than a Vegas tunnel tweaker, Zalatoris has the overall game to not only make the cut but also place T20 in my opinion. Just watch out for those greens, Will.
Aaron Rai
Thirdly, I bring to you Aaron Rai. In his past six tournaments, Rai has placed T4 and in the top 20 twice. I’ve noticed in the past tournaments the early rounds are where he thrives, and that’s all we need out of the Englishman with a pure swing and a hot temper. Unless he completely explodes, Rai is a mortal lock to make the cut this week. Enough said. Lock it in and watch him fly.
Rickie Fowler
To round off our four-leg parlay, I’m taking the most fashionable guy in golf, Rickie Fowler. I’m expecting some borderline flamboyant outfits and some soft touches out of Rickie this week. Rickie won here last year, and he knows the course well. I mean, he has to; he won this fucking thing. Sure, he isn’t in his best form, but last week it seemed the Rickie Fowler of old was starting to come to life, shooting four consecutive rounds under par and placing T20. Rickie’s back, baby, and he’s ready to make us some money.
Cash Money Baby
The parlay pays a tasty and exciting +420 (4.2-1). For all you stoners, this is a sign to capitalize on this parlay and 4x your spending money. We’re going to grow money faster than any stock or mutual fund this week. Don’t forget to check out our Instagram @PerriSportsHub for the "Daily Hot Takes" vlog segment. We’re showing our raw emotions and anger for a more real experience. Let’s get this bread, folks, and may your bets be as solid as Rickie Fowler’s wardrobe choices.
