Game 5 Preview: Panthers vs. Oilers The Batshit Crazy Parlay Edition

Tonight at 8 PM EST the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers clash in Game 5 of the NHL Finals. Let’s cut the crap my betting picks have been absolute dogshit this series. So, screw it I’m going in on a batshit crazy parlay and if it hits we’re all swimming in cash. Here’s the plan:

Leon Draisaitl Four Shots on Goal

First off Leon Draisaitl to have 4 shots on goal. It’s do-or-die for Edmonton, so they’ve got to be on full attack mode. That means peppering the net like it’s a goddamn shooting gallery. Leon is their sniper and if he doesn’t hit this number, it’s because Edmonton got bent over by the Panthers. So, expect him to unleash a barrage of shots and maybe even a goal and let’s pray he doesn’t choke like I did on my last bets.

Connor McDavid Two Points

Next I’m banking on Connor McDavid to record 2 points. The guy’s the best player in the world and if there’s ever a time for him to prove it it’s with his back against the wall in the finals. He needs to be a one man wrecking crew tearing through the Panthers defense like a horny teenager on grad night. Two points Easy money. If McDavid doesn’t show up I’m throwing my TV out the window.

Sam Reinhart Anytime Goalscorer

Lastly, I’ve got Sam Reinhart to score a goal. Why Because betting on the regular season’s second-best goal scorer sounds like a smart idea especially when all logic has flown out the window. Plus it’s hockey anything can happen. Reinhart’s got the talent to light the lamp so let’s ride this crazy train and hope he finds the back of the net.

The Parlay

The odds for this wild ride are +1200 so if it hits we’re raking in the dough. This is our chance to get all that lost money back and then some. So, grab your beers your lucky amphetamine and let’s root for Draisaitl to shoot, McDavid to dominate, and Reinhart to snipe.
