Betting Big and Going Low - Scottish Open Awaits

Welcome back to some more golf coverage and insightful analysis with yours truly. I’ve been on an unreal streak of picking players in my "Going Low" segments who make it to the final group and choke relentlessly. This won’t happen again. I’m picking a baller who can either win or not even be in contention; the man I’m taking doesn’t have a bone in him that can choke. It’s either domination or death with this lad. Following my "Going Low" favorite, I’ve rallied a make-the-cut parlay that will get us above .500 for some big cash.

This week, we have the Scottish Open, which is a tickle in the nuts for the Open in the next two weeks. I love UK golf, and breaking down this tournament at The Renaissance Club is making me feel insanely dialed. I’m pumped to watch some high-class golf with a great field. Without further ado, my picks:

Picks:

"Going Low": Ludvig Åberg

Thomas, you pick Ludvig all the time. What the fuck is this? Shut the fuck up and take the pick. Over the past few years, the top ten has been riddled with European talent. Ludvig, with the form he’s shown and having had the past two weeks off, makes him a standout pick. With odds at 17-1, I’m salivating at this pick. After day one, mark my words, it’ll be less than 10-1, and if it’s not, I’m doubling down harder than an 11 vs. a dealer’s 6. Don’t be mentally challenged, ride with the European talent when the tour is playing in Europe; it’s a simple rule that will make us a little bit richer.

Fairway Favorites:

I’ll make it short, sweet, and simple because my audience seems to have a shorter attention span than a goldfish. Pay attention, fools, if you’re looking to 4x your funds. At +379, we are taking four lads that have a positive history in this event. It seems like a no-brainer.

First up, Sepp Straka. Sepp is in great form. Since the Masters, he has made every cut, and in prime season, I don’t see things changing.

Next, we’ve got Sahith Theegala. Yes, he missed the cut last year, and yes, he hasn’t been playing his best golf. But believe me, Theegala can ball with the best of them. This break was great for his game; he was fatigued and not hitting the shots he intended. I expect things to turn around for the most aggressive golfer on tour at a gettable track.

Thirdly, Corey Conners, the maple syrup-drinking junkie. Conners finished T19 last year, and this season, in my opinion, is playing the best golf he has played since I started watching. It’s a simple pick to boost our odds.

Lastly, the man of the people, Max Homa. Like I’ve said before, Homa gets hot this time of year, every year—it’s automatic. He finished T12 here last year. Homa is a guy you can’t root against, and I can personally guarantee he makes the cut. Place the bet, be stress-free, and watch your account grow.

Cashing In and Kicking Back

And that's that, degenerates. This week’s picks are locked and loaded. Let's turn these predictions into cold, hard cash. Remember, if these picks tank, you can always drown your sorrows in a bottle of cheap whiskey. Ciao, fuckers! See you tomorrow, and may your bets be as lucky as a hooker on a billionaire's yacht.
