We Just Couldn’t Buy a F@#king Goal

Alright, Leafs Nation, we lost 1-0 last night to the Habs. Yeah, you read that right: *1-0*. It wasn’t for lack of effort; we played a solid game, but sometimes the hockey gods just aren’t on your side. The Leafs were out there working harder than a stripper on rent week, but nothing hit the back of the net. That’s how it goes sometimes – you can do everything right and still end up staring at an empty goal like a drunk guy at 3 a.m. trying to score a kebab.

Stolarz – The Hot Take of the Night

Despite the loss, Anthony Stolarz was a f@#king wall between the pipes. Hot take: this guy could easily make a case for being our number one goalie. Woll’s balls might be a little tight with the competition Stolarz is bringing. The dude was out there stopping shots like his life depended on it, and honestly, without him, we’d probably be looking at a worse scoreline than your ex’s love life. If he keeps this up, I wouldn’t be surprised if he takes the reins for the Leafs.

Leafs vs. Devils – Time to Bounce Back

Tonight, the boys take on Sheldon Keefe’s new squad, the New Jersey Devils. They’re 2-0 and looking solid, but if the Leafs play like they did last night – minus the whole “forgetting how to score” thing – I think we take this one. We just need to come out firing on all cylinders, stay physical, and for the love of hockey, hit the damn net! No official lineups yet, but they’ve got *Denis Hildabily* as the projected starter. Bold move, considering the Devils have been hot as hell. It’ll be interesting to see if he’s ready for this.

Sal's Parlay of the Night

Now, for the fun part: tonight’s parlay. I’m rolling with Willy Nylander over 3+ shots again. He looked like he was gonna break something after that game, and I’m betting he comes out hungry tonight. Throw in Mitch Marner to record a point, Leafs moneyline, and Auston Matthews over 4 shots, plus the over 6.5 goals. Yeah, it’s similar to last night’s, but I’ve got a good feeling about this one. Odds are sitting pretty at +700, so let’s ride this bad boy into the sunset.
